An accomplished pianist from a very early age, Kristy Mezines has had an impressive career as both a soloist and collaborator with numerous orchestras, operas, and universities.

 

Kristy specializes in the particularly challenging works of brass accompaniment, working with such artists as Allen Vizzutti, Tim Higgins, Martin Schippers, and Tom Hooten. She can be heard in the albums "Notes from the Underground," "Pa la Calle," "Mirrors," and "Impressions of France." As founding member of the duo "Mother Chaos," she has a keen interest in commissioning, premiering, and recording works by gender marginalized composers.

She currently resides in Texas with her two sons where she works as an accountant at FrenzelCPA.
