Kait Oresky is a low brass freelancer and educator residing in Boston, MA. In 2024, she joined the faculties of University of Massachusetts - Lowell and Bentley University as Instructor of Tuba and Euphonium and Pep Band Director, respectively. Kait is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Brass Performance at Boston University, studying under Mike Roylance, and holds degrees from the University of Central Florida. Outside of academia, Kait enjoys performing in New England and beyond as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral tubist and euphonium player. She has an extensive background in the marching arts, including a six-year membership with the Boston Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps (2013-2018) and has served on the brass education teams of The Academy Drum Corps, Music City Drum Corps, and currently, The Bluecoats.
